The Spanish Association for the Advancement of Information Security, ISMS Forum Spain, is a non-profit organization founded in January 2007 to promote the development, knowledge-sharing and culture of Information Security in Spain and to act for the benefit of the entire sector. It was created with a plural and open vocation, that is set up as a specialized debate forum for companies, public and private organizations, researchers and professionals as a place where to collaborate, share their experiences and know the latest advances and developments with regard to Information Security. The Association activity is carried out from a perspective of transparency, independence, objectivity and a neutral stance.
ISMS Forum Spain has more than 800 members and 120 companies associated. Therefore, the Association is already the largest active network of experts and organizations engaged with Information Security in Spain.
The ISMS Forum organizes its activity through different iniciatives: The International Conferences, the Spanish Cyber Security Institute (SCSI), Data Privacy Institute (DPI), Cloud Security Alliance Spain (CSA-ES), the web site Protegetuinformacion.com, workshops about dealing with specific subjects, and training. Besides, it manages the Certified Data Privacy Professional (CDPP) and the Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK), in Spanish for Spain and Latin America.
The ISMS Forum Spain is registered with the National Register of Associations, Group I, Section I, National Identification Number 588718 (Registro Nacional de Asociaciones, Grupo I, Sección I, Número Nacional 588718). The Association’s headquarters are located at Castelló, 24, Madrid, Spain.
